Middlesex Terrace is recruiting Part Time Dietary Aide / Cook position.

Education required for Dietary Aide:

- Food Service Workers Certificate or
- Food Service and Nutrition Management Course

Dietary Aides require the following:

- Must have 3 Covid Vaccines to be considered for position
- Enjoy working in a long-term care setting
- Be able to communicate in English including written documentation.
- Previous experience working in the food service industry and asset
- Hold Current Food Handler’s Certificate
- Have a valid police check with a vulnerable screen within 6 months of hire
- Have a TB test with results within 6 months of hire
- Prepares and cleans dining room tables.
- Familiar with use of therapeutics and modified diets
- Assists portioning desserts, pouring milk, juices and any special food or beverage items for regular and modified diets
- Performs cleaning functions including dining tables, chairs and designated areas in the kitchens and/or dining rooms.
- Serves client meals including client preferences
- Use of an industrial dishwasher
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: From $20.80 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Delaware, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
