Purpose:
Our Executive Housekeeper leads the Delta Regina Housekeeping team throughout all areas of the hotel. Whether it is a guest room, public space, office space or laundry, our Housekeeping Supervisors support the team and ensure our guests have an amazing experience. They are a Brand ambassador with a commitment to clean. They have strong attention to detail and uphold all manner of brand standards. They motivate the team to wow our guests and offer an exceptional experience.

Qualifications:

- Ability to converse with guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ability to deal with all levels of management in a professional manner.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient/familiarity with Microsoft Office, Opera PMS and/or QUORE is an asset
- Must be available mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Able to work a flexible schedule.
- May be asked to work overtime.

**Major Duties and Responsibilities**
- Manages the operations of the housekeeping and laundry areas through supervisors and employees to ensure the achievement of departmental productivity objectives and service quality standards.
- Establishes and maintains cost control system for linen and cleaning supplies inventories; oversees the budgeting, ordering and receiving of such supplies to maintain appropriate inventory levels necessary for efficient operation of the hotel.
- Develops and implements systems for inspecting and managing the quality of housekeeping and laundry services provided and to ensure timeliness and efficiency of services; oversees inspections of housekeeping/ laundry activities to ensure procedures are followed according to standards.
- Responsible for the proper scheduling of staff and work according to productivity standards and forecasted occupancy.
- Recruits, hires, trains and develops housekeeping staff; conducts performance evaluations and provides feedback for employee
- Inspects the level of cleanliness in guest rooms, storage areas, laundry areas, restrooms and public areas and take corrective actions on deficiencies to ensure Brand standards are met and exceeded.
- Ensures the completion of the daily Housekeeper’s Reports and communicates clean and available rooms to the Guest Services Department
- Identifies improvements, efficiencies, and deficiencies and report any maintenance or repair issues.
- Verify room status on AM report. Check vacant rooms and update discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
- Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Supports and assists the Housekeeping, House person & Laundry teams as required.
- Follows company policies and procedures and is able to effectively communicate them to subordinates.
- Conducts training regarding safety, security, department procedures and service guidelines.
- Ensures hotel is in compliance with all federal, provincial and local laws, including Health and Safety, ESA and Human Rights.
- Fulfills Manager on Duty and Lobby Duty shifts.
