There is also a permanent position available Cashier Responsibilities - Accurate processing of transactions (scanning/entering items, usining a POS system, cash handling, processing debit/credit cards, lottery tickets, gift cards etc.) - Bagging groceries - Helping customers bring groceries to their vehicles (upon request) - Maintaining excellent customer service standards - Keeping the cash register/front area stocked and clean - Proficient knowledge of merchandise - Completing housekeeping tasks (keeping items organized/front facing, dusting, sweeping & mopping floors, checking expiration dates, etc.) - Completing other tasks as requested - Ability to stand for long periods of time - Basic math skills Stocking Responsibilities - Safe and accurate stocking of pop, chips, produce, and dairy products - Completing housekeeping tasks (sweeping & mopping floors, wiping down/sanitizing surfaces, checking expiration dates, dusting, keeping items front-facing & pulled forwards, some "bigger" cleaning tasks) - Ability to lift items up to 40lbs - Ability to bend and conduct repetitive movements **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Part-time hours: 5-30 per week Day range: - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Shift: - Afternoon shift - Evening shift Work setting: - Grocery store **Experience**: - Cashiering: 1 year (preferred) - Customer service: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
