**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist them in seating arrangements.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the POS system.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Provide assistance to guests by answering questions about the menu and restaurant services.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or providing information as needed.
- Assist in managing the dining area to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for all patrons.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food service operations and POS systems is a plus but can be taught on the job.
