SETTING

Nabuurs Gardens is a seasonal garden center and farm market located in Brudenell Prince Edward Island. Nabuurs Gardens specializes in creating vibrant outdoor spaces, offering expert plant care advice, landscaping services and supplying a wide range of premium greenery for both residential and commercial clients.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Propagate, plant, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plant species.
- Monitor plant health and implement pest and disease control measures.
- Conduct soil and plant analysis to ensure optimal growing conditions.
- Prune, weed, fertilize, and irrigate plants to maintain aesthetic and functional standards.
- Oversee seasonal planting and maintenance schedules.
- Experiment with new plant varieties and hybrids to improve yield and quality.
- Advise clients, colleagues, or the community on plant care and garden maintenance.
- Manage greenhouses, nurseries, or plant production facilities.
- Maintain detailed records of plant inventories, health, and treatment schedules.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to meet organizational goals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Botany, Agriculture, or a related field are considered an asset. Relevant certifications are a plus. Experience in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field equivalency will be considered.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
