**Job Summary**
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for all warehouse duties including but not limited to order picking, order checking, bin maintenance/cleaning, packing, receiving, order fulfillment and shipping as required. Duties also include general warehouse maintenance and lowbay replenishment putaway. Each associate is also responsible for assisting in the overall cleanliness of the warehouse, including sweeping/tidying aisles and organizing and maintaining bin cleanliness. In addition, the General Warehouse Associate will assist in other areas as needed to best support the warehouse in day-to-day operations while The Authentic T-Shirt Company®/SanMar Canada strives to provide opportunities for personal growth and development.

**Required Qualifications & Experience**:

- Ability to recognize product, styles, sizes and colors of company product
- Use RF Technology
- Must be able to establish a routine to work efficiently
- Must be able to count quickly and accurately, with high attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Takes pride in a job well done
- Taking ownership of tasks
- Long term ability to work with mínimal supervision and follow directions as needed

**Working Conditions**
- 40 hours per week; occasional overtime
- Walking for extended periods
- Use of ladder
- Ability to push/pull carts
- Ability to repeatedly reach, bend, stretch, kneel and lift and carry weight up to 50lbs when performing duties
- Ability to wear CSA approved safety footwear with protective steel toes and other personal protective equipment as required

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick, check, pack, and/or ship orders along with other assigned duties as required
- Meet or exceed KPI Targets set per job function
- Maintain 99.7% accuracy
- Keep assigned cart/checking station/work area clean and litter free
- Report mixed or wrong product in bins to Warehouse Management immediately
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as required
- Assist in maintenance and organization of warehouse floor, bins and aisle/station cleanliness as needed
- Participate in cardboard breakdown and recycling
- Participate in changing clear plastic bags at the end of low bay aisles as needed
- Participate in warehouse housekeeping and maintenance
- Adhere to current and future company policies and standards to ensure a safe and agreeable working environment
- Assist in other areas of the Warehouse department and additional duties as required by management

- Work in cooperation and communicate effectively with all levels of the staff
- Handle any confrontational matters in a professional manner
- Support and respond to SanMar Canada's customers’ needs and requests
- Keep co-workers informed of activities that have implications to their department
- Openly communicate any successes, concerns, or problems related to the job
