Major Pipe is seeking a motivated permanent, full time General Labourer to join our growing team in Nisku, AB. The General Labourer will support the direct initiatives of the Yard Manager and perform assigned tasks involving physical labour in a safe, timely manner.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Provides assistance to Loader Operators regarding the movement of OCTG tubing & casing.
- Assists Loader Operator with tallying pipe being received &/or shipped out.
- Supports the Shipper/Receiver with coordination during job progress.
- Responsible for equipment & shop cleaning & maintenance
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with Major Pipe’s Health & Safety program and Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.

**Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Must possess valid Class 5 drivers license and have access to own vehicle to get to and from Nisku Yard.
- Be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Ownership of steel toe boots, gloves, and work attire for all weather conditions and seasons.Major Pipe will supply hard hat & coveralls.
- Experience with OCTG handling is an asset.
- Major Pipe is a 24/7 service company. As such, evening & weekend work will be required.
- Be able to work in all weather conditions.
- Positive approach, with willingness to do what is needed.
- Adequate English reading and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a timely and effective fashion.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.

**Salary / Benefits**
- Wage will be hourly pay dependent on experience.
- Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
