Responsibilities:

- Provide guidance for setting up plate mounting, ink management, material handling, job ticket information
- Set up, adjust, maintain, and operate a 12 color flexographic press
- Accountable to set up flexo production department within the organization
- Inspect and examine printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications, and external defects
- Examine job orders to determine details such as quantities to be printed, production times, stock specifications, colors, and color sequences
- Monitor feeding, printing and racking processes of press to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary
- Maintain equipment to ensure high quality printing
- Train and provide work direction to assigned personnel; assign work duties and review work for accuracy and completeness
- Coach, mentor, and teach operators to improve Safety, Quality, and Productivity
- Understand shop floor metrics and being responsible for the team’s results vs targets
- Understand all documents to the printing process, and adhere to specification requirements
- Work safely following established safety procedures
- Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude to troubleshoot any problems that can arise while operating the flexographic press
- Must have strong problem-solving, communicational, and critical thinking abilities

**Requirements**:

- Minimum high school diploma or college diploma in a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience is required
- Stand for prolonged period of time
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work on a tight timeline
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated
- Organized and able to work under pressure

**Salary**: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
