**Job Overview**

Employees are expected to have a flexible schedule throughout the week due to the nature of our services for the clients. We learn with our clients and adapt our services based on their needs. Therefore, this job is not restricted to individuals with homecare or nursing experience because not all clients require that.

**Duties**
- Assist clients with instrumental aids to daily living activities that may include yard work or help with their pets.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Prepare meals according to dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks to deep cleaning.
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring clients can engage in community activities.
- Assist with errands, medical appointments, grocery shopping.
- Support individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques.
- Help clients transition from their family homes to care facilities with downsizing, organizing, purging and moving.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with family members to ensure that care plans are up-to-date and works with everyone.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home care, nursing homes, or assisted living is nice to have but not necessary.
- Familiarity with working with persons with disabilities and understanding their unique needs is a plus.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients are essential.
- A commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times.
- Personal experience in caregiving for loved ones is a bonus.

Pay: $18.00-$21.75 per hour
