We are seeking **Surveying Students** for our Toronto district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that are available for **4 month or 8 months starting January 2026.**

As a **Surveying Student** and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
**Responsibilities**:

- Contributes to day-to-day layout and grading tasks
- Helps monitor quality control in compliance with contract documents
- Assists in managing surveying for project layout and conformance
- Marks and labels survey points and record field data according to job specifications
- Participates in creating and maintaining survey models
- Understands coordinate systems, scale factors, design requirements and engineered forming systems
- Assists in creating survey notes and recording field data

**Qualifications**:

- Understanding basic surveying principles with a practical approach
- Familiar with construction plans such as structural, architectural and shop drawings
- Student must be in a recognized drafting, architectural, engineering or construction management program
- Experience with operating total stations and survey equipment/GPS for layout and as-built purposes
