**EXPERIENCE**:

- **Experience in the wireless or telecommunication industries is an asset**:

- The Telecommunication Technician - Level 1 reports to the Project Manager overall and to the Project Lead on the job site. The duties, responsibilities and requirements of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Proficiently perform equipment cabling, splitter and antenna installations
- Perform or assist with structured cabling installations
- Perform or assist with fibre optic installations
- Work at heights to install wireless systems and/or repair existing systems**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Ability to understand and communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (essential safety requirement)
- An active driver’s license and good driving record is required for any employee selected to drive a company vehicle - a current driver’s abstract is required
- Physical Requirements:

- Able to lift materials upwards of 50+ lbs
- Able and willing to work in inclement weather conditions where required
- Able to work at heights - on ladders, building roof tops, etc. as required
- Physical and visual acuity to perform mechanical tasks
- Able to bend, sit, squat, kneel, stretch and stand at different intervals daily
- Due to the nature of specific job sites and/or client security regulations, a Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check will be required upon commencing employment (at employee’s expense)
- Willingness and ability to work various hours and shifts when required, including overtime - days, nights and occasional weekends as dictated by the specific project
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
