We are seeking conscientious, happy people who like to get dirty to join us for our 6th season maintaining beautiful properties in the Muskoka area No weekends, extra hours are available for the occasional Saturday. Summer students are encouraged to apply, we are flexible to accommodate school year start/end.

**Duties**
- Performing landscape maintenance activities; mulching, raking, and debris removal; loading trailers
- Assisting with seasonal planting and garden maintenance; weeding, planting, digging, pruning, deadheading, watering with hoses & watering cans, vacuuming
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs; load tools & mowers into back of pick up, dragging hoses & full tarps, carrying full watering cans, pushing loaded wheelbarrows, bags of soil, planters, etc.,
- Working at all levels; standing, lifting, reaching, kneeling, crouching, walking on flat & uneven ground and hilly terrain
- Operating power tools for line trimming, mowing (push mower), blowing
- Be able to work independently and make timely decisions
- Confident in interacting with our fantastic clients on occasion

**Experience**
- Prior experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred (1 year) or relevant experience. Pay will be based on prior experience and/or knowledge base
- Horticulture students are always a bonus
- Confident to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions

**Essential items**
- All staff are to wear approved steel toed shoes/work boots at all times.
- Hand tools and PPE will be provided
- Possess a valid drivers license; ability to drive a full sized pick up truck, also comfortable pulling a trailer if necessary
- Our spring start date is weather dependent
- Must have reliable transportation to Port Carling daily for 7:45am

We love what we do and strive to do our very best for every client for the entire season. We work as a team, get dirty & work hard and have a little fun along the way We are also happy to teach new skills and share knowledge about plants, gardening and the nature in Muskoka.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week

Work Location: In person
