**Entry Level Opportunities ( Labourers/ Utility Operators, Plant operator Trainees)**

Entry Level (Utility/ Labourer, etc.)

**Term of Employment**: Permanent, Full Time

**Rate**: $30.91 to $32.22 per hour (Dependent on position)

**Schedule**:12-hour shifts (Most positions are 7 days on / 7 days off / 7 nights on / 7 days off)

**_No camp available, you are required to hold residence, on some level, in the town of Grande Cache for the duration of your work rotation_**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Utility Services
- Assisting Surface Mine Operations, moving electrical cables as required for shovels and drills, operating smaller equipment, operating pumps for water management, and other duties as required.

Labourer
- Assisting Maintenance Department as required, assisting journeymen tradespeople as requested. Current Class 3 Driver’s License and air brakes certification an asset.

**Education, Experience & Qualifications**
- Some high school preferring grade 12 or GED, college or industry courses in heavy equipment operating combined with on-the-job training, or equivalent experience.
- Valid Driver's Class 5

**Technical Competencies & Skills**
- Must be able to work 12-hour day and night shifts; on a 7x7 rotation.
- Must be able to communicate in English.
- Physically fit with the ability to perform physical labour often at heights.
- Proven safety and attendance record.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with peers, trainees, and leadership.
- Previous heavy equipment operations, labourer or industrial experience is considered an asset.
- First Aid/Mine Rescue Training is considered an asset.
