**Duo Cafe** **is boutique bakery and cafe that offers French artisanal goods in a modern environment.**

We are looking for positive and enthusiastic **Café Associates (Retail Sales Associate/Barista) **who are knowledgeable and passionate about customer service to join our growing team

**LOCATION: 9206 Leslie Street #1, Richmond Hill ON**

**AVAILABILITY**:An open availability will be given preference (will be expected to be scheduled for a variety of opening, mid-day, closing shifts)

**Responsibilities**:

- Interact with guests, provide in depth knowledge regarding our product; Act as a brand ambassador for the Company
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Maintaining a calm exterior during periods of high volume or unusual events to maintain a comfortable shop environment
- Maintaining a clean and organized work-space so that associates can locate resources and product as needed
- Maintaining regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Contributing to a positive team environment

**Preferred Qualifications and/or Experiences**:

- Current Food Handlers Certification (must obtain on hire)
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR C (is an asset)
- Experience in a similar position is an asset.
- Ability to stand for 8 hour shifts, lift 20 lbs when required and perform regular, repeated movements such as lifting trays, working the register, and making beverages.
- Must be energetic with a passion for food and a positive attitude.
- Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.55-$20.57 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

- Weekends as needed
