We are seeking a **Sample Receptionist**on a **6-months contract**for our Garson Lab. Working within an ISO 17025 laboratory environment the sample reception personnel will be responsible for:

- Receiving, subsampling, and preserving samples safely with acids/bases as necessary
- Accurate data entry into a LIMS system in accordance with company procedures
- Preparing outgoing bottle orders
- Shipping and receiving samples
- Adhere to all Health and Safety rules
- Cleaning workspace and coolers as required
- Meeting production timelines
- Any other tasks as required
- **Requirements**:_
- Some knowledge of chemical environmental testing
- Critical Thinking and ability to multi-task
- Solid communication skills; excellent phone and desk manner
- Basic computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace setting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Greater Sudbury, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
