Wine Sales Representative

We’re seeking a dynamic, personable, and passionate **Sales Representative** to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is excited to work with a diverse portfolio of wines and build their experience in the world of fine wines. You will engage with customers, help them find the perfect bottle, and provide exceptional customer service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Engage with customers to recommend and sell wines based on their preferences.
- Assist with maintaining and organizing the wine shop’s inventory.
- Educate customers on wine varieties, regions, and pairing suggestions.
- Ensure a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the shop.
- Help with in-store promotions and product displays.
- Drop in Tastings with Customers
- Stay up-to-date on new arrivals and seasonal offerings.
**Requirements**:
- Passion for wine and eagerness to learn more about different wine varieties.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with availability to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays only).
- Previous retail or sales experience is a plus, but not required.
- Must be 21+ years of age.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Expected hours: 14 per week
Additional pay:
- Bonus pay
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekends only
**Experience**:
- Hospitality (wine & spirits sales): 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- WSET (preferred)
