Job description

**Summary of Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper/Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Ensure the cleanliness of all linens processed while adhering to hotel standards
- Loading, unloading washing machines and dryers
- Stock guest room amenities
- Vacuum hallways, mop floor, dusting jobs as assigned
- Minor maintenance related tasks
- Watering plants/grass
- Lawn mowing
- Assisting Room Attendants as assigned by Supervisor
- Removal and sorting of linen, garbage and recycling
- Assist department colleagues as assigned by the manager
- Comply with all department policies, procedures, and service standards
- Follow and proactively promote all health and safety policies and initiatives
- Communicate any deficiencies to the supervisor
- Other reasonable duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Physically fit and able to work well under pressure
- Able to work well independently with little supervision
- Must be a team player and demonstrate organizational skills
- Verbal and written English skills as asset
- Ability to follow directions from the manager, follow washing instructions
- Good vision and ability to notice small stains
- _**Cleaner/Porter Attendant is a physically demanding position. Duties include repetitive bending, pulling, carrying, high lifting and heavy pushing (up to 100lbs.).**_

**Other**:Work schedule includes evening shifts.
