Bartender/barmaid

**Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of beverages in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and provide high-quality service will contribute significantly to our guests' overall experience.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working condition.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and efficiently while providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions using the POS system, ensuring accurate billing and cash handling procedures.
- Monitor customer consumption levels and adhere to responsible serving practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.

**Skills**
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, including cocktails, wines, and beers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
- Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering procedures is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
