As a member of the living environment, the Resident Attendant/contributes to the establishment and enhancement of autonomy and quality of life for all. As a Resident Attendant, you will stimulate, assist and provide hygiene and comfort care to residents. What's more, you'll have to work with your colleagues to ensure the best possible customer satisfaction in the care and quality of life sector of the residence. The attendant is a person who, through his or her duties in the residence, provides personal assistance services or invasive care to assist with activities of daily living.

**Task list**:

- Assist and provide resident hygiene and comfort care according to work plans and client needs;
- Take note of any changes in the client's state of health and report any changes to your immediate superior;
- Support and accompany residents in their activities of daily living, particularly in meeting their needs, in accordance with the care plan;
- Participate in maintaining a quality living environment for residents;
- Collaborate with all members of the living environment and other professionals;
- Maintain personal dignity at all times;
- Meet the needs, comfort and safety of residents;
- Warmly welcome loved ones at all times and maintain good communication with them;
- Competence 6: Administer medication and invasive assisted care;
- Stimulate, coach and guide residents to maintain their level of autonomy;
- Cognitive stimulation through communication, cognitive games, reading the newspaper, singing, reading a story, etc..;
- Physical stimulation through walking and outdoor activities, sports games, chair exercises, dance, etc;
- Creative stimulation through workshops in drawing, painting, collage, decoupage, decoration, mandalas, etc.;
- Occupational stimulation through domestic tasks with the resident, such as setting the table, doing the laundry, washing up, sweeping the floor, etc;
- Individual accompaniment to counteract isolation by active listening, taking an interest in the resident's past and looking at photos, respectfully inviting the resident to go out or participate, etc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.24 per hour
