Wholesale Outlet Associate

G.T. French, a wholesale distributor of Food Service, Sanitation and Packaging products is currently hiring to fill the position of Wholesale Outlet Associate in the busy Kitchener operation.

Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:

- answering customer inquiries
- treating each customer with respect
- handling cash accurately
- processing orders accurately
- picking orders
- stocking shelves
- cleaning store

Physical Requirements:

- able to lift up to 50 lb. on a regular basis
- able to stand on his/her feet for long periods of time during each shift
- able to withstand considerable amounts of walking, reaching, lifting and bending

Environment:

- can be dusty - exposed to warehouse storage area
- dim lighting in warehouse
- varying temperatures depending on season (time spent outside assisting customers to their vehicles with purchases)

Schedule Requirements:

- approx 40 hours per week
- Monday and Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
- Rotating Saturday shift 9:00am-3:30pm
- required to be at work 15 minutes prior to the start of each shift
