The RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Halifax is seeking an Associate Advisor to provide investment support to a high performing Advisory Team.

You will provide quality client service and help deepen relationships with existing clients through ongoing, efficient support to both clients and the Advisor Team which consists of an Investment & Wealth Advisor and an Associate.

**What will you do?**
- Facilitate, in partnership with the Investment Advisor, meetings and events for the Investment Advisor with their clients and prospects. Drawing on your understanding of the business and client needs, you will help deliver documentation, execute post-meeting work, and attend client meetings when required.
- Effectively respond to client account inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups.
- Business development support.
- Trading and / or portfolio rebalancing.
- Support both the advisory team and our clients throughout the Wealth Management process. Coordinate activities with internal Wealth Management specialists, manage documentation, track progress and follow up.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Successful completion of Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH)
- Industry experience of 4+ years
- Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

**Nice-to-have**
- Knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities’ systems and procedures
