Elderly Caregiver

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication administration as per care plans and ensure compliance with prescribed schedules.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry.
- Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Provide companionship and support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including those for patients with developmental disabilities or chronic illnesses.
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary for safe patient transfers.

**Experience**
- Home health care or hospice care experience would be an asset.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
