Job Title: Tumbling Coach - Recreational to Intro Level 3
Location: North Vancouver, BC (Absolute Gym)

**Job Type**: Part-Time
Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM) & Saturday-Sunday (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)

Start Date: As soon as possible

Absolute Gym is a respected Tumbling facility in North Vancouver offering high-quality tumbling instruction for children aged 4 to 17. Led by a team with over 20 years of international experience, we provide a safe, positive, and structured environment for athletes and coaches alike. Absolute Cheer & Tumbling Ltd has been proudly serving the North Shore for over 18 years and is excited to be growing it's ever-popular recreational tumbling program

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver safe, engaging, and structured tumbling lessons
- Manage groups of children ages 4-15 effectively
- Communicate respectfully with children, parents, and coworkers
- Maintain class structure, behaviour standards, and gym safety
- Demonstrate teamwork and uphold gym policies

Coaching Duties:

- Responsible for coaching 45, 60 and 90 minute tumbling classes
- Nurture and develop all athletes’ potential skills and abilities.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of athletes.
- Analyse and evaluate athletes’ performances and modify training programs as needed.
- Non-Coaching Duties:

- Communicate with parents on an as needed basis in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other coaches to plan special events.
- Attend any scheduled coaches’ meetings, and technical/planning meetings as required.
- Other duties and tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:

- Age 21 to 50
- Minimum 2 years of gymnastics or tumbling experience
- At least 2 years coaching children aged 4-15
- Relevant certifications (NCCP, B.Ed., Kinesiology, etc.)
- Eligible to work in Canada
- NCCP education
- Respect in Sport
- Police Record Check
- Be energetic and actively foster a positive environment
- Be approachable and solution oriented with superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:

- Making Ethical Decisions
- First Aid Certification
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search will be required
- North Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Work Location: In person
