Delco Water is currently hiring for a **Service Manager**. This position will oversee the service department, ensuring efficient and effective execution of service contracts, special projects, and customer support. This role will involve strategic planning, hiring, team leadership, and continuous improvement aspects.

**Responsibilities**:
Leadership & Management:
- Supervise, mentor, and lead a team of technicians and technologists.
- Identify appropriate talent, and initiate hiring and retention processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Service Operations:
- Oversee the execution of service contracts and on-site work commitments.
- Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery to clients.
- Coordinate with Delco's other department managers to balance resources and manage workloads.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow revenue and profitability.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and close service-related sales.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and see opportunities for additional services.
- Become the face of Delco for long-term service clients in your region.
Continuous Improvement
- Provide regular and formal feedback to design, manufacturing, and sales teams to drive practical improvements in product, workflow, and processes.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance service operations.
- Seek out efficiency in logistics, staffing, and equipment to better serve our customers and employee satisfaction.
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare and present regular reports on department and staff performance, project status, potential business development activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all service activities and project work.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in building, maintaining, and leading a high-performing team within a service or technical work environment.
- Possesses a network of contacts who could be considered for addition to the team over the next 1-2 years.
- Strong project management, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify and pursue business opportunities.
- Technical knowledge relevant to the service department's operations including: instrumentation, pumps, valves, control systems, VFDs, water and wastewater treatment technologies.
**Work Environment**:
- This position will require travel to client sites and other locations as needed, specifically within the first year of employment. As the team grows, the manager's role on jobsites will diminish according to the needs of the department, and more office time will be necessary to execute the job.
- Onsite work will be typically at water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
