**Assurance Manager**

**We are currently seeking a qualified Assurance Senior Manager with at least 4 years of recent post
- certification experience working for a public accounting firm to join our Oakville based practice. The individual should be well versed in SME audits, reviews, ASPE accounting, and familiar with owner manager tax.**

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Plan, supervise, and execute assurance engagements in compliance with professional standards and firm policies.
- Develop strong relationships with key business decision-makers and identify new business opportunities
- Review assurance and non-assurance engagement files to ensure compliance with relevant professional standards and firm policies.
- Conduct research on technical matters related to client situations.
- Manage and develop the skills of less experienced staff.
- Foster an innovative and team-focused environment.
- Prepare/review corporate income tax returns and other filings.

**Experience Requirements**:

- Canadian CPA, CA designation
- 4 years of post-certification public accounting experience in performing audit and review engagements, reviewing NTR’s and detailed review/final review of assurance engagement deliverables
- Strong knowledge of ASPE and familiarity with ASNPO
- Understanding of owner-manager tax concepts
- Proficiency in Taxprep, Caseware and Caseview would be an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oakville, ON L6H 1A7
