Key Responsibility Areas
- Places parts in appropriate location, either emptying boxes, moving parts,
- Unloads goods from trucks, C-cans, or other delivery methods.
- Inspects and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, recording shortages and damaged goods.
- Unpacks materials as required, ensures they are inspected on a timely basis, affixes stock tags and directs their prompt storage in the correct location.
- Records arriving goods and enters them in inventory records.
- Picks and assembles materials and parts for specific Job Orders and delivers them to the assembly process.
- Issues materials to the appropriate job, labels large components and ensures they are delivered to production.
- Returns surplus materials to storage area.

Administrative Functions:

- Records parts issued to jobs and material returns to maintain accurate internal record-keeping for both job-costing and inventory systems.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- 1 - 3 years related shipping / receiving or material experience in a warehouse setting.
- Inventory control.
- Documentation and data entry.
- Related materials management experience in a warehouse setting

**Education**:

- Grade 12

Working Conditions
- Some work is performed in an office environment, indoors and outdoors, unloading material, and facilitating storage in our yard. The employee is responsible for ensuring they are appropriately clothed for all conditions. Some protective clothing may be provided.
- Work will be performed in an industrial shop or warehouse environment. It is a very dusty environment and can be warm in the summer and cold in the winter due to the bay doors opening for parts movement. The work requires an ability to lift heavy objects, and to work in a variety of positions (standing, kneeling, crouching, climbing and underneath vehicles) for long periods of time.
- Proper use of all the required Personal Protective Equipment is a requirement of these positions. The employee will provide CSA-approved safety footwear. All other PPE will be provided.
