Innovation & Renovation (I&r) Program Manager

**What to Expect**:
We are looking for a Program Manager, Commercialization supporting the Nestle Health Science Category, reporting into the Director, Innovation & Commercialization. The role involves turning innovation strategy into action by completing the Category Portfolio and its value crafting initiatives. The goal is to achieve profitable, balanced, and responsible growth from Idea to Launch. This role would also be responsible for leading Key Business Initiatives and additionally have people management responsibilities that include leading and mentoring 1-2 direct reports.

**A day in the life**:

- Serve as the primary link between the Category’s defined innovation strategy and project execution.
- Provide the Category Leadership Team with data, analytics and insights, facilitating regular Portfolio Reviews to bring clarity to Portfolio status, gaps and optimization opportunities.
- Drive, in partnership with the Category Marketing Leader, the alignment of the Portfolio to deliver the Category's I&R strategic objectives and targets. Facilitating the evaluation, choice, trade off and prioritization of new and existing I&R projects and ideas.
- Build and lead the coordinated project plan from Idea to Launch, defining the critical path and tracking achievements to ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify and handle risks and opportunities, determine solutions, remove roadblocks and drive corrective action to meet I&R portfolio and project objectives and business commitments thru robust viability, feasibility and desirability assessments at every stage of the project
- Lead and facilitate monthly Category Project Review meetings for Gate Advancement, Deactivation and Scope Change, driving go/no go decisions by the Category Leadership team.

**Role Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of effective Commercialization Portfolio and Project Management experience
- Proactive and Analytical Individual, Creative Problem Solver, Daring, Adaptable, Self-Motivated, Committed to Achieving Results
- Comfortable with ambiguity and an ability to navigate between the big picture and the details
- Proven track record to mobilize and energize team members behind a shared vision and guiding and motivating them to achieve project objectives

**Preferred Skills**
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
- Background in a scientific, medical or healthcare field
- People Management
- Minimum 8 years of cross functional experience in a CPG company
- Experience with Stage Gate methodology
