**THE OPPORTUNITY**
- Delivering materials to company locations (up to 140km radius) in a safe and timely manner
- Pick-up and delivery of temperature-controlled freight
- Load/unload by hand with or without mechanical aid
- Complete circle check, logbooks, and other regulatory requirements including truck maintenance
- Report necessary maintenance or repairs on equipment and vehicles to the Supervisor
- Provide AZ Driver vacation coverage when necessary
- Verifying delivery of materials and ensuring the completion of necessary paperwork
- Perform all job duties in a safe manner by adhering to all driving regulations, road signs, and company safety policies and procedures
- Maintain contact with shipping office or Supervisor to receive instructions or be dispatched to new location
- Responsible for maintaining food safety standards in work responsibilities and report food safety issues to QA immediately.
- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act by reporting all hazards, accidents, incidents or near misses to the Supervisor.
- Follow all prescribed SOPs, rotation schedules, HACCP and GMP procedures
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have excellent communication skills; verbal and written (English)
- Must have a valid AZ/DZ license or equivalent with a clean driver’s abstract
- Must have at least 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enjoy customer service and building customer relationships
- Ability to lift 20-60lbs consistently
- Ability to work in a variety of weather, temperature, and road conditions
