Labourer/scale Attendant

Location: Loraas Landfill Reports to: Landfill Supervisor Compensation: Hourly Job type: Full Time, Permanent We are Saskatchewan’s leader in waste transfer and recycling services. For more than 55 years, we’ve been building a reputation of excellence. **As a condition of employment, all new employees to safety sensitive positions must successfully pass a substance test within a two week period of their hiring date.** **Duties**: - A variety of labour and light equipment operation duties, including grounds maintenance (mowing with various equipment, cleaning up wind-blown litter, manually or with self-propelled fan-collection unit, tree watering etc.) and cleaning of equipment with high-pressure wash. - Assist with scale operation and general paperwork. - Adhere to all safety procedures and policies according to company Safety Manual and OH&S Regulations. - Ensuring a high level of quality service to internal and external customers. - General shop and yard duties. - Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications**: - Class 5 Driver’s License required, must have a clean driver's abstract. - Strong logístical and organizational skills. - Ability to work independently or in a team. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Computer literacy required. - ** A criminal record check will be required.** **What’s in it for you?** - A team environment that embraces a "work hard, play harder" culture. - A compensation package that is competitive and comes with excellent benefits. - Well-maintained equipment and facilities. - Opportunities for learning, advancement, personal growth, and challenge.
