**Location**: Montreal Airport (YUL)

**Overall responsibility**:
A Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning, replenishing amenities and linens, and ensuring a clean and comfortable presentation for each guest.

**Job Duties**:

- Dust all visible surface areas within reach (including lighting fixtures and vents)
- Clean shower rooms according to company procedures and ensure all surfaces are dry for next user.
- Clean washrooms, including but not limited to toilet, sink and floor up to company standards.
- Ensure Nap rooms are clean, restocked, and sanitized after each use.
- Empty and clean all waste containers
- Wipe down all tables and countertops
- Mop hard surface flooring and vacuum all carpeted flooring
- Spot clean fine marks and/or smudges from all walls, mirrors, TV monitors, light switches and doors
- Remove rubbish from lavatories and wipe down all surface areas of the lavatories including the shower area
- Replenish any used or missing supplies - toilet rolls, hand towels, tissue paper, hand soap, hand lotion, and sanitary napkins
- Clean main entrance door and surrounding floor area
- Remove food compost, garbage, and cardboard from the kitchen and transfer them to the waste station
- Assist in high dusting and carpet shampooing bi-annually if required
- To process dirty linens, place them in the Canadian Linen bags and follow the linen collection procedure.
- To ensure that proper cleaning procedures are adhered to and personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn at all times during the shift. Employees are expected to follow all health and safety regulations, enforced and updated by the company.
- Always ensure that you clean and sanitize your work area before the shift ends.
- Assist in dishwashing if needed.
- To take up any additional duties and work based on the operational requirement as assigned by the on-duty manager, such as cover duties for colleagues during their break.

**Requirements**:

- Proven working experience as a cleaner.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Proficiency in English.
- Able to work weekdays, weekends and statutory holidays required.
- Able to work different hours of shift, no fixed schedule.
- Able to stand for long hours.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with a vaccine recognized by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
