Stellar Creative Lab is hiring top talent for a **New Streaming Series for Marvel Studios**.

**We are looking for Lighting & Compositing Artists **who thrive when creating technically challenging images as they illuminate the world and characters **for this prestige streaming series.**

The **Lighting and Compositing Artist** role combines many complementary skills, including a strong aesthetic eye, understanding depth of field, lighting, composition, color theory, material design as well as general industry lighting and rendering technology and workflows.

**Your Main Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Be responsible for lighting, rendering and compositing of your shots to a high standard
- Complete fixes or changes requested by lead, director or clients
- Able to work with multiple media and elements
- Collaborate with other departments on solutions, workflows and deadlines.
- Work with your lead to have a clear understanding of deadlines and task assignments.
- Meet the creative look expectations of the show
- Meet deadlines and task assignments. Asking questions for added clarity.
- Participate in Asset Look Development or Light Rig Creation for use by other departments.
- Work with others in your department to problem solve together.

**Experience, Talents and Abilities we’re looking for**:

- 3+ years of experience with both lighting AND compositing.
- A strong understanding of lighting fundamentals.
- A great eye for color, contrast, and composition, as well as camera dynamics.
- Excellent understanding and production experience with Maya and Nuke.
- Experience with Arnold and Redshift including a working knowledge of industry standard rendering concepts and processes.
- Experience with additional software is a plus: Shotgun, Katana, and Deadline.
- Ability to identify visual cues and follow direction from key image reference
- This is a remote (work from home) position, but if you prefer to work from the studio this is also possible
- Eligible to work in Canada
