**Position Overview**

The **Housekeeping Supervisor** will provide supervision of Room Attendants, Housepersons, Laundry Attendants. This Team Member will conduct room inspections, evaluate cleanliness and promote an accident-free environment, while also assigning tasks or duties related to the daily opening procedures and assisting room attendants with bed making or cleaning of rooms in emergencies. The Housekeeping Supervisor will respond to rooms where assistance is requested in order to expedite rooms in emergency situations. This Team Member will be responsible for communicating instructions to fellow Team Members and responding to Guest service concerns along with any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a Supervisory role is required
- Minimum of once years’ experience in a Room Attendant role

**Skills**
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Organizational and Customer service skills
- Excellent Work Performance Record and Time Management skills
- Ability to lead and motivate Team Members in order to complete a series of tasks in a timely manner

**Requirements**:

- Must be available to work a variety of all shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)

**Physical Demands**
- Stands and walks moderate to long distances throughout shift. Frequently required to handle and move objects weighing up to 23 kilograms and push up to 23 kilograms over moderate to long distances using a cart. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting and stretching is required to fulfill cleaning and inspection tasks. Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
