Assi Market is looking for a **Grocery Team Member **to join our team

Grocery team members will ensure general tidiness of the grocery floor and display. They will work with incoming deliveries and ensure that all inventory is accounted for and put in the right location. They will greet customers and assist in any inquiries that they have.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Promote the culture and values of Assi Market
- Work under pressure during periods of high traffic or unpredictable events to keep store fully stocked
- Adjust work tasks accordingly to the requirements of the supervisor or senior team members to assist them in urgent matters
- Assist customers with their inquiries to the best of your ability
- Develop positive relationships with other team members by understanding and addressing their needs
- Execute opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Follow Assi Market employee handbook policies to ensure compliance and alignment with expectations from the management team
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Follow health and guidelines when performing work and other best practices

**Experience**
- Customer service orientated role in a retail or restaurant environment (**Preferred, but not necessary**)

**Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Ability to learn quickly
- Effective oral communication skills (Able to speak Korean is a bonus)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs (large bags of rice)
- Eligibility to work in Canada (i.e. citizenship, permanent residency, or work visa)

**Availability**:

- Full or Part-Time
- 7 Days a Week, 9 am to 9:15 pm

**Pay Rate**:

- Depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour
