We’re seeking an experienced **Assessment Psychologist**to bring their expertise and enthusiasm to our growing practice.

**Role Responsibilities**:
As an Assessment Psychologist at Carbon Psychology, you will:

- Conduct and interpret a wide range of psychological assessments, including cognitive, memory, behavioural, emotional, academic, social, adaptive, personality, and executive functioning evaluations.
- Make advanced clinical decisions regarding assessments, treatment plans, modifications, and discharge recommendations for clients with multi-dimensional or complex needs.
- Triage clients effectively, prioritizing their level of need.
- Prepare comprehensive psychological assessment reports that address referral questions and include tailored, actionable recommendations.
- Provide one-on-one consultations with caregivers or clinicians regarding school placements, programming, or the impact of cognitive abilities on therapy engagement.
- Attend school conferences to support the implementation of recommendations and assist with program planning.
- Facilitate psychoeducational groups or deliver presentations to families, clinicians, or external organizations.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in psychology with formal training in psychological assessments.
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
- Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting assessments related to cognitive, academic, social/behavioural/emotional, executive, and adaptive functioning for children and adolescents.
- Knowledge and experience in trauma-informed care and supporting the mental health of children and youth.
- Experience working with high-needs youth with learning disabilities, developmental delays, executive dysfunction, or complex needs is an asset.
- Familiarity with supporting children and youth who identify as LGBTQ2S+.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records or similar systems.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Pay: From $120.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
