**Primary Role of This Position**

The Material Handler is responsible for ensuring that the product is removed from the line and placed on the appropriate skid to ensure the product is delivered on time to the correct destination.

**Major Responsibilities**

+ The Material Handler removes the product from the line and puts it on the appropriate skid so that the product is delivered on time to the right destination

+ The Material Handler will assist in setting out skids appropriate to the size of the load and customer preferences and placing orders on the correct skids. The height of parcels on the skids is determined by Kohl & Frisch guidelines and customer preference. Before completed skids are wrapped by hand or automated wrapper, they must be approved by the Shipping Assistant.

+ The Material Handler is required to sort and organize totes returned by customers, as well as load totes and lids into the automated de-stackers

+ Other duties as required to meet company objectives

**Qualifications**

+ Must be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

+ RF Gun experience

+ Must be able to operate a Walkie (BT) or be willing to learn

+ Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Basic communication skills, self-motivated

+ Basic math skills and high attention to detail

**Hours of Work**
Monday to Friday, 9:30 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
