BFL CANADA is seeking a Technical Assistant for its Montreal Office*
Reporting to the Operational Support Services (OSS)’s Team leader, the Technical Assistant is responsible for meeting the operational administrative needs of the various teams. If you are looking for a dynamic work environment, please keep reading

YOUR DAY AS A TECHNICAL ASSISTANT*
- Ensure the drafting and accurate distribution of insurance certificates, invoices, data entries, correspondence, memos, proposals and other documentation within the prescribed deadlines.
- Support brokers in the management of receivables from their clients.
- Collaborate with accounting and insurers to resolve accounting discrepancies and any related issues.
- Organize and prepare various payment methods including financing contracts to customers.
- Prepare PowerPoint and Word presentations, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines.
- Offer a support service for brokerage teams with regard to the procedures leading up to renewal.
- Participate, when requested, in the issuance and preparation of calls for tenders and any other setting up of new business or special projects.
- Perform any other related task at the request of his immediate superior.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE*
- Diploma of collegial studies (DEC) in office systems technology or Administration or Diploma of Professional Studies (DEP).
- Minimum experience of 1 year.
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Effective management of time, priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent sense of organization, attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality results.
- Professionalism and discretion.
- Enthusiastic, roactive and innovative in problem solving and organizational efficiency.
- Ability to work independently, in a team and collaboratively.
- Bilingual (French and English): strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An asset: Basic knowledge in EPIC software, accounting and insurance
