**Job Overview**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential care and assistance to individuals with varying needs, including those with disabilities, dementia, and seniors requiring support. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and companionship.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
- Provide patient care in various settings including nursing homes and private residences.
- Support individuals with disabilities by promoting independence and facilitating their participation in community activities.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to enhance their emotional well-being.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are implemented effectively.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior to the appropriate personnel.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in caregiving or support roles is preferred, especially in hospice care or senior care settings.
- Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus.
- A background in nursing or healthcare-related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members are essential.
- A compassionate nature and a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals in need.
