Some of the exciting things that you will do as an Educator in the classroom include, but are not limited to:
**Our School Age Educators.**
- Make a difference every day
- Be accountable for the daily routines and expectations of the school age program, ensuring that the program is operating in accordance with Coppens Academy and provincial licensing standards.
- Be responsible for ensuring an educational, caring and safe environment for the children and parents.
- Spark imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things each day.
- Promote the positive image of the company and play a major role in making the company a provider of choice in programming for the communities that we service.
- Work alongside and report to the Centre Supervisor.
- Follow and teach the theme-based weekly curriculum including Math, Science, Language, and Art Lessons.
- Help maintain attendance, children records, and follow established budgets.

**Job Requirements**:In order to be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements, including:

- A desire to positively impact the lives of children and families.
- The ability to demonstrate an understanding of current provincial policies and regulations.
- Possess critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Experience working with educational lesson plans.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to bond with children and parents.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization and time management skills; attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
- Hours of this position range from 2:30pm-5:30pm, Monday-Friday

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.55-$23.86 per hour

Expected hours: 12.5 - 15 per week
