Home Support Worker

**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, whether they are seniors, individuals with disabilities, or patients requiring specialized care.
**Duties**
- Provide Seniors care and support to individuals in various settings, including home care and assisted living environments.
- Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
- Help with mobility and physical support, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Document daily activities and any changes in the client’s condition as required.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care or hospice care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Understanding of working with persons with disabilities is beneficial.
- Certification in CPR or first aid is must
- RCA certification is preffered

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
