**Job Title**
Host / Hostess

**What You’ll Do**:
You will report to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager **(this may vary from time to time depending who is on shift). You will:

- Maximize guest experience and restaurant profitability by curating and organizing reservations, and mandating guest traffic through the front door.
- Provide direct reporting to management regarding organization and flow of reservations.
- Co-ordinate with floor leadership, and management team to maximize server efficiency.
- Call all reservations to confirm attendance numbers, and reaffirm company policies (Out times, Gratuities, seating preferences etc.)
- Curate the organization of reservations to maximize restaurant efficiency and profit.
- Direct large reservations to the Administrative and Events Manager.
- Create a positive, welcoming environment for all guests.
- Ensure company mandated advertisement is being accurately presented (Feature menus, Sandwich boards, happy hour etc.)
- Ensure cleanliness of the restaurant by communicating with management, serving, and support staff.
- Be responsible for complying with local health and safety codes, emphasizing on fire safety and capacity.
- Be responsible for communicating to management team, and serving staff about intoxicated guests entering the building, and promoting proper actions to ensure safety of the guests.
