We are looking for Part-Time and/or Full-Time Behavioural Interventionists to work with our organization supporting children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder in **Langley**. This work is highly rewarding and could lead to more senior level positions, as well as an opportunity for BCBA/BCABA supervision by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts with the Family Centred Practices Group. If you enjoy working with young kids (between 3-6 years old), this is the right job for you **Description of Duties** As a behavioural interventionist you will be working with young children diagnosed with autism as part of a Behavioural Intervention team, under the direct mentorship and supervision of a Behavioural Consultant. Your responsibilities will include: - Using teaching methods to target specific program goals as directed by a Behavioural Consultant and implementing teaching programs and other interventions as outlined on the child’s behavioural plan of intervention - Collecting data, monitoring, recording and reviewing client progress with team members - Maintaining an organized environment for intervention; including room organization and proper storage of materials and documents - Attending and participating in regularly scheduled team meetings - Participating in regular videotaping of behavioural intervention sessions with the child, as well as shadow and training sessions with Behavioural Consultant - Responding appropriately to oral and written feedback from the Behavioural Consultant by making necessary changes in order to follow through with suggestions made - Completing training modules and attending workshops on various topics for ongoing professional development (note: participation in training modules and workshops is not compensated, but mandatory, the fees for this training are included) **Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements** - Fluent in English (knowledge of other language(s) is an asset) - Experience working with young children - Applicants in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, and Speech & Language Pathology are encouraged to apply - A car and a valid driver’s license are a great asset - Willing to commute to different clients' homes - Minimum age for applicants is 19 - Commitment of a minimum of 10 hours per week for at least 1 year - Clear criminal record check completed within the last 12 months **Benefits** - You will be provided with high quality training and support from qualified Behaviour Consultants - Potential for BCBA or BCaBA supervision - Includes training workshops in behavioural intervention strategies - Paid as an employee twice a month (with source deductions) - Potential to move up into a more senior level position with FCPG **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 10-20 per week **Salary**: $16.00-$20.50 per hour COVID-19 considerations: Application question(s): - MANDATORY: What days are you able to work?
