**Job Summary**
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Co-op Student looking to gain credits throughout the week and to be paid $17.50 on Saturdays from 10AM-5PM. This position is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the beauty industry while working alongside skilled professionals. The Co-op Student will assist with various salon operations, providing an opportunity to learn about customer service, hair care techniques in a dynamic environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist stylists with client preparations, including shampooing and conditioning hair.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon, including workstations and common areas.
- Support the front desk with appointment scheduling and customer inquiries.
- Observe and learn various hair styling techniques and treatments from experienced stylists.
- Help manage inventory by restocking products as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge about the industry.

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- A passion for the beauty industry and eagerness to learn about hair care practices.
- Basic understanding of hair products and tools is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent customer service.

This Co-op Student position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in a supportive salon setting while contributing to our team's success.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
