**Current Opportunity**
We have an immediate opening for a permanent full-time licensed **insurance agent.** We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented individual who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment in our Vancouver office. After completing a training program, daily tasks will focus on selling and administering travel insurance policies.
**Required**
One or more years of experience working in insurance sales, customer service or administration; or as a travel agent licensed to sell insurance.
- **Minimum High School Graduation (BC or equivalent);**:
- University diploma/degree preferred;
- Fluent reading, writing and speaking skills in **English;**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Preference will be given to applicants also fluent in **Mandarin or Korean;**:
- High energy, positive attitude and team player;
- Ability to take direction, but act with initiative and self motivate to meet deadlines and responsibilities;
- Solid organizational ability and an attention to detail;
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure;
- Previous sales & marketing experience would be an asset.
**Responsibilities**
- Process client orders;
- Answer client calls;
- Complete administrative tasks such as processing early return refunds, cancellations, policy date changes;
- Validate monthly commission statements from suppliers;
- Complete various tasks associated with the operation of our day-to-day business.
**Hours**
- 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with some weekends;
**Location**
- Coal Harbour, Vancouver, BC
**Other**
- Additional significant team-based monthly bonuses after three-month probationary period;
- Opportunity for regular raises;
- Company laptop;
- Phone allowance provided.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
