**Job Description Summary**:
The Woodshop Machine Operator I involves the safe and correct use of secondary Wood Shop operation equipment and processes to support the manufacturing of our products. This includes assisting CNC Operators, wood shop product finishing processes like laminating and packaging. The Woodshop Machine Operator I reports to the Production Manager.

The duties and responsibilities of the Woodshop Machine Operator I will consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

- Safely operate a variety of Wood Shop secondary equipment. May include: Laminator and/or Finisher Machines. Following work instructions and job orders
- Perform and follow QC (quality control) inspection of products standards
- Assembly and packaging tasks as needed
- Must use all provided PPE (Personal protective equipment) as required for example, hearing protection, safety glasses and safety toe shoes
- Use of pallet jack or other material handling equipment as required and assigned
- Perform scheduled routine shop clean up that include sweeping, removing trash and other duties necessary to maintain safe and clean work areas
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- ** Work Experience**:Entry level
- ** Education**:Basic reading, writing and math skills

- ** Physical Demands**: Frequent lifting up to 35 pounds, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance. Proper lifting techniques required.
