The Electrical Technician is responsible for reviewing the daily tasks and any specific projects that need attention, which primarily involve assembling cable harnesses, installing system wire, and building electro-mechanical assemblies.
This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is part of the Cytiva Manufacturing & Operations located in Burnaby, BC. This is an on-site role.
**What you’ll do**:
- Assemble cable harnesses, build electro-mechanical devices, route, and terminate pneumatics and wires in final assembly
- Perform product testing and machine configuration
- Follow and contribute to processes within a best-in-class manufacturing environment
**Who you are**:
- You have a strong electro-mechanical aptitude and +5 years of experience building cable harnesses, performing wiring termination, and testing systems
- You can work in a complex environment, identify the correct processes, and be comfortable working from written work instructions or engineering documentation.
- You are confident enough to raise your hand when you need help or stop work when things aren't right.
**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:
- Working in the medical, aerospace, or other highly regulated environment
- Have experience in lean manufacturing.

The salary range for this role is $57,000 to $72,000CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
