Lactalis is one of Canada’s leading producers of premium quality food products including milk, cheese and yogurt. We are currently recruiting for a Separator Operator to join our processing department in our production facility in Winchester, Ontario which produces butter, cheese, powder, and margarine.

**Shift: 12-hour or 8 shifts with overtime pay and shift premiums**
**(Saturday’s x1.5 and Sunday’s double time)**

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Good understanding of all aspects of the 640 Operator position including:

- Operating the HMI system and filling station
- Hook up and initiation of CIP circuits
- Manual cleaning and sanitization of equipment
- Completion of PQMS documentation
- Trouble shooting and following safety procedures ( LOTO, PPE, Guarding, etc )
- Good understanding of all aspects of the 640 Lift Operator position including:

- Moving of Finished product from line to coolers
- Bringing in supplies for line
- Verification of proper identification of joes
- Assist with wash up of the 640 area
- Following safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, Guarding, etc.)
- Lift Truck and Standup Lift Licenses required.
- Completion and documentation of Sanitary PM’s.
- When not breaking the above two positions, you will assist in the box making area or Track 5 & 6 as needed.
- Other duties as required
- Must be able to perform the duties as a confined spaces entrant and attendant
- Completion of secondary school (OSSD or equivalent)
- Able to safely operate mechanical devices
- Ability to quickly identify and take action in a safe manner
- Ability to safely lift up to 40lbs
- Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in food industry, is an asset
- Flexible availability for all shifts
- Must be available to workdays, nights and weekends
