Buco Pizzeria + Vino Bar is a Neapolitan pizza and wine bar. We specialize in fresh, modern Italian entrees, grilled dishes, desserts and Napoletana pizza. **Description**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare pizza dough and ingredients according to established recipes from the Recipe Binder.
- Operate and maintain wood-fired or stone pizza ovens.
- Stretch, top, and cook pizzas to order with precision and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the pizza station and all food prep areas.
- Ability to stand, move quickly, bend and lift continually for an extended period.
- Monitor food stock and communicate any shortages or needs to the Chef.
- Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Promote a positive work environment that fosters teamwork, respect, and professionalism.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of one year of experience as a Pizzaioli and two years in a kitchen environment preferred.
- Familiarity with traditional Italian pizza style (Neapolitan, Roman, etc.) is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a high-volume restaurant or bar is preferred.
- Food Safe certification or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A genuine passion for the restaurant industry and providing excellent customer service.
