**Position Title**: Facilities Cleaner

**Brand/Department**: TTC / Facility

**Reporting to**: Facility Manager

**Direct Reports**: None

**Supports**: TTC Canada staff

**Location**: TTC Office in Toronto (33 Kern Road)

POSITION PURPOSE
To maintain a healthy and clean office environment, a cleaner is required to routinely disinfect all door handles, tables, washrooms, kitchens, and cubicles. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning routines that are specifically designed for TTC facilities, providing confidence to all employees of a safe and clean office environment.

KEY RESULT AREAS & ACTIVITIES PERFORMED
- Cleaning and disinfecting all surface areas, and door handles, including bathrooms, common kitchens, desks, and conference rooms
- Replacing toilet paper, hand soap, and hand towels
- Dusting the surfaces within a room and or cubicles
- Mopping and polishing floors on a regular basis
- Picking up any trash, recycling stations inside and outside, and emptying the trash bins
- Cleaning all dirty dishes in the dishwashing equipment
- Cleaning and scrubbing interior windows
- Responding to an employee or guest cleaning requests
- Inventory of cleaning and chemical supplies
- Vacuum carpet once a week or as needed
- Spot clean coffee stains on the carpet on a regular basis
- Perform light gardening duties outdoors
- Demonstrate dedication to meeting the expectations of internal and external customers, using the principles of the Consultative Sales Process (CSP)
- Other duties as required and assigned

- Attention to detail to perform a thorough job

- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks

EDUCATION
- High School diploma is preferred
- English language skills (verbal) preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Office based
- Standing, walking, bending
- Light duties - lifting of cleaning supplies
