Surveyor Assistant

Our team is seeking a hard-working surveyor field assistant to assist our field staff with various surveying tasks. including but not limited to; commercial and residential layout, topographic surveys, legal boundary surveys, and various other development surveys.

Field work is completed outside 4 seasons a year and involves working in various weather conditions including cold weather. This job involves a large amount of walking and requires the ability to carry equipment and supplies for long distances.

**Responsibilities**:

- Measure and record data with Total Station, Data Collector, Digital Level, GPS and tape measures.
- Assist Party Chief (survey crew lead) with daily tasks including measurements, calculations and setting of stakes and survey monuments.
- Organize and collect equipment and supplies for daily job.
- Inspect and maintain field equipment and vehicles.
- Download and upload information.
- Assist with the preparation of field notes and sketches.
- Review information with OLS, drafters and other staff.

No previous relative experience required, training is provided.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
