Levitt-Safety has an exciting opportunity for a technician to join our team as a fly-in/fly-out Service Technician for Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems (VFSS) in Malartic, Quebec.

This is a highly desired compressed workweek schedule of 12 hours/day, 14 days on, 14 days off with company-paid housing and travel between your home and Malartic, Quebec (the primary work site).

This role will include diverse maintenance and repair activities at our customers’ site including inspections, repairs, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of vehicle fire suppression systems on heavy-duty and mining equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working in a fire suppression role or equivalent.
- Experience, education, or training working with extinguishers, fall arrest equipment and fire suppression systems (such as Ansul or equivalent) is a strong asset.
- Parlez-vous un peu le français? A basic/beginner’s level knowledge of French is required for this role in a French-speaking community. If you have some basic exposure to French and are willing to improve skills through company-paid trainingnous voulons vous parler
- A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted, coupled with good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Physically able to work in restricted workspaces, including using ladders and walkways on large equipment
